Our workshops started on 02.02.2019. At first, we did a “Processing” workshop with 8 participants. Processing is a simple programming language, that lets you create beautiful digital drawings and animations in a few minutes. It is aimed primarily at designers, artists and newcomers to programming.
Some participants had no programming experience, others were advanced programmers, but had not used Processing before. However everyone, beginner or not, quickly had fun programming small animations.
Piet did for example this animation, inspired by his work related to the movement of gas molecules.
Leon managed to combine his Electric piano with Processing, allowing the molecules to react to music. You will be able to try it out during our exhibition this summer.
